Your guitar has strings. Strings wear out. Worn out strings sound bad. Stop complaining and change your strings. No one really believes that somehow your guitar sounds just as good as it did when you last changed strings in 2004.
And if you think this lesson is directed at someone in particular, you're correct.

11/6/08, 1:26 AMHa ha. If I had my way, I'd change my strings monthly. But I like Elixer strings, and they're spendy, so I don't. I think I have some weird chemical makeup that makes me rust strings more quickly than usual.- Clydesdale Jogger said...
11/6/08, 10:54 AMYou're not the only one. I have to be careful about wiping down my strings when I put the guitar away. I do change my strings about once a month, but I don't use Elixers... :^)
