Amish Guitar

Had a great practice tonight.  I decided not to worry so much and have fun.  I found myself moving through chord changes smooth as butter.  It was a wonderful feeling.  I even tried my hand at Be thou my vision, a hymn I have been avoiding as it is full of chord changes and is also one of my favourites.  It wasn't smooth as silk, but it was fun.  I don't know if this is what real musicians refer to as feeling the groove, but it did feel like I could play effortlessly with familiar, simple tunes.  It was a real boost to make music like that again. 

I even began to think that I might be ready to play in church.  Scary.
